Lash extensions require a different application process than false lashes; false lashes generally are applied in a strip, whereas lash extensions are applied individually by our technicians. Each lash is hand glued on top of your natural lashes, creating a soft natural effect. Eyelash extensions are used to enhance the length, curliness, fullness. With proper care they can last for 6-8 weeks until they naturally fall out like your lashes usually do.

To prolong the lifespan of your lash extensions, it is not recommended to wear mascara because when the makeup is removed at the end of the day it can actually cause the extensions to break from the friction and makeup remover. Always be mindful to use cleaners that are specifically formulated to be safe for eyelash extensions. If a cleansing product does not specify this, it may contain ingredients which can weaken the bond of the lashes and cause them to fall out prematurely. If you still wish to wear mascara, make sure it’s water based or specifically formulated for lash extensions. If an oil based mascara is applied, such as waterproof mascara, the oil will begin dissolving the bonding agent, which will in turn weaken the lashes and cause them to fall out prematurely. 

This is a painless procedure that lasts 2-2.5 hours, depending on the type of lash set you choose to get. Lash extensions are a wonderful way to instantly brighten and enhance your eyes, without damaging your natural lashes underneath!
